What to Expect

Clear answers
before you
walk in.

If you have never visited a church like ours before, these answers will help you know what to expect so nothing catches you off guard.

  • A Sunday service usually begins with congregational singing, followed by prayer, Scripture reading, and preaching from the Bible. The order is simple and reverent. We want the Word of God to set the tone and shape the whole service — not music production or atmosphere.

  • Our preaching is expository. That means we move through the Bible passage by passage, explain what it says, and apply it carefully to everyday life. We aim for clarity, conviction, and pastoral care — not entertainment or motivation.

  • The music is reverent and congregational. We sing hymns and songs that help the church pray, confess truth, and praise the Lord together. The goal is worship, not performance. If you have never sung in church before, you are welcome to simply listen.

  • No. We will gladly greet you, but we will not put you on the spot. You are welcome to sit, listen, and simply observe. We want visitors to feel comfortable as they get acquainted with the church, not self-conscious or pressured.

  • Please wear what is comfortable and modest. Some people dress more formally and others come more simply. We care much more about hearing the Word of God together than about fashion.

  • We provide nursery care and age-appropriate children's ministry, as well as Sunday School classes for different ages before the morning service. If you arrive with children, someone will help you get oriented and answer any questions before things get started.

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.

After Your First Visit

Simple ways to
get connected.

01

Arrive a few minutes early

If you want help finding a class, the nursery, or a seat, arriving a little early gives us time to greet you and answer questions without any rush.

02

Stay after the service

Many visitors stay afterward to meet one of the pastors, ask a question about the church, or simply have a conversation over coffee.

03

Ask about membership

If the church feels like a good fit, we would be glad to talk with you about membership, discipleship, and how to keep growing in Christ with us.
