Statement of Faith

What we
believe.
And why it
matters.

In a world that questions everything and commits to nothing, we believe the Bible speaks clearly — and that a church should too. These are not opinions or preferences. They are convictions forged from Scripture, held with care, and offered to anyone tired of fog and looking for solid ground.

Key Convictions

The main
doctrines in brief.

Before you read the full statement, these summaries give you a quick picture of what we believe about Scripture, the gospel, the church, worship, leadership, and mission.

01 · Scripture

The Scriptures

We believe the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, sufficient, and final authority for faith, life, doctrine, and ministry.

02 · Salvation

The Gospel

We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, grounded in His sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and promised return.

03 · Community

The Church

We believe the local church is a gathered body of believers marked by the faithful preaching of the Word, the ordinances, discipleship, fellowship, and discipline.

04 · Gathering

Worship

We believe worship should be reverent, joyful, and governed by the truth of God's Word, with the Lord Himself at the center rather than human performance.

05 · Oversight

Leadership

We believe Christ rules His church through qualified elders and deacons who lead as servants under the authority of Scripture.

06 · Purpose

Mission

We believe the church is called to make disciples through evangelism, teaching, prayer, church planting, and faithful care for the saints.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.

of faith.

Read the articles below for a fuller picture of the doctrines that shape this church.

Article 01

The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God and the only sufficient, certain, and authoritative rule for saving knowledge, faith, and obedience.

Article 02

God and the Holy Trinity

We believe in one living and true God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in glory and perfection, sovereign over all things, and worthy of all worship.

Article 03

God's Decree and Providence

We believe God has unchangeably ordained whatsoever comes to pass and providentially governs all things for the praise of His wisdom, grace, and glory without being the author of sin.

Article 04

Creation and the Fall of Man

We believe God created all things in six literal days, and that mankind fell in Adam, leaving all people guilty, corrupt, and unable to do spiritual good apart from divine grace.

Article 05

Redemption and the Plan of God

We believe God's saving purpose was established before the foundation of the world and is fulfilled in Jesus Christ, with salvation always being by grace alone through faith alone in the promised Redeemer.

Article 06

Christ the Mediator

We believe Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, fulfilled the law, died as the substitutionary sacrifice for His people, rose bodily, ascended to heaven, intercedes for His people, and will return in glory.

Article 07

Effectual Calling and Regeneration

We believe those predestined to life are effectually called by the Spirit through the Word, regenerated by God's sovereign grace, and brought to repentance and faith in Christ.

Article 08

Justification

We believe justification is God's gracious declaration that a sinner is righteous in His sight solely because of Christ's righteousness imputed by faith alone.

Article 09

Sanctification

We believe sanctification follows justification and consists of both a definitive setting apart to God and a lifelong growth in holiness by the Spirit through the Word.

Article 10

Perseverance of the Saints

We believe all who are truly saved will persevere to the end, being kept by the power of God through faith, though they may fall into sin and require loving chastening.

Article 11

The Church

We believe the universal church is made up of all the elect in every age, and that a local church is a congregation of baptized believers joined together for worship, fellowship, mission, and mutual edification under Christ.

Article 12

Baptism and the Lord's Supper

We believe baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances given by Christ to His church, with baptism reserved for believers by immersion and the Supper observed by baptized believers in reverent remembrance of Christ.

Article 13

The Lord's Day

We believe the first day of the week is the Lord's Day and is to be set apart for worship, fellowship, remembrance of Christ's resurrection, and spiritual refreshment in Him.

Article 14

Civil Government

We believe civil authorities are ordained by God and should be honored in lawful matters, yet Christ alone is Lord of the conscience and Head of the church, so believers must obey God rather than men when the two conflict.

Article 15

Last Things

We believe Christ will return personally and visibly, the dead will be raised, final judgment will come, and God's kingdom will be consummated in the new heavens and new earth.

Article 16

Marriage and Human Sexuality

We believe God created humanity male and female, instituted marriage as the lifelong covenant union of one man and one woman, and ordained sexual intimacy to be expressed only within biblical marriage.

Article 17

Sanctity of Human Life

We believe every human life is sacred from conception to natural death because every person is made in the image of God and must therefore be protected and honored.
